Fibromyalgia is a very serious condition in which the affected person always feels tired all the time and goes through a number of complications including joint, tendon, and muscle pain in the different parts of the body including extremities, back, hip, shoulders, and neck.
This tenderness and pain spread in the various parts of the body may be accompanied by many other symptoms including dysmenorrhea, numbness in feet and hands, fibro fog, abnormalities in the functions of the bowel, painfulness in the morning, and distress in sleeping.
The problem of fibro fog means the irregularities and abnormalities in the way people think and remember different everyday things.
In other words, Fibromyalgia is a neurological ailment that has an effect on the musculoskeletal soft tissues, for example, muscular tissues, ligaments, and tendons.
The vast majority of men and women with Fibromyalgia feel extreme muscular discomfort and pain, also associated with a noticeable level of tiredness throughout the entire human body.
In the beginning, the muscle pain and tiredness generally take place in the top parts of the human body (shoulders, upper back, cervical region, and neck,), later growing into other body areas (thighs, lower back, spine, arms and mid back).
What Does the Latest Research and Data Tell Us
Fibromyalgia was previously known as fibrositis and the latest research conducted by different scientists, medical doctors, and other health experts tells us that more than 90% of people affected by Fibromyalgia are women aged 18 years old and older.
On the flip side, many men and children are also affected by this ailment. The latest data compiled by the researchers tell us that more than 5 million Americans are affected by this health condition.
Some Minor Causes of Fibromyalgia
As a matter of fact, a lot of men and women are affected by this health condition named “Fibromyalgia” but the exact causes of this ailment are still unknown to health experts and medical doctors.
On the other hand, Fibromyalgia is a condition that is usually associated with a number of causes including;
– Distressing happenings and traumatic occasions for example injuries and accidents.
– A number of health conditions, for example, systemic lupus erythematosus, ankylosing spondylitis, and rheumatoid arthritis, which is a joint disease in the spinal column.
– Some research workers and scientists believe that Fibromyalgia is a thing inherited or anything due to an abnormality within a person’s genetics.
These research workers believe that the genes of men and women who have Fibromyalgia tend to be more hypersensitive than those of a person not suffering from fibro, causing them to be more sensitive to pain.
– Additionally, it is recommended that the main neurological system or the brains of men and women with Fibromyalgia are extremely hypersensitive which also triggers the diffuse disruptions of pain sufferers may think they feel when this problem hits.
Major Possible Causes and Symptoms of Fibromyalgia
As mentioned earlier, health experts, medical professionals, and researchers are silent and unable to explain the actual causes of Fibromyalgia.
Fibromyalgia is a complicated happening and healthcare research workers think that there are a number of aspects responsible for leading to it.
Scientific researchers on the subject have indicated that men and women with the problem go through external stimulating elements at unusually high extremes, as a result of neurological complications.
Recently carried out tests have revealed that a number of the men and women with Fibromyalgia show clear symptoms of allodynia (overactive brain reaction to otherwise usual stimulating elements), while other people show very clear symptoms of hyperalgesia (unusually high level of sensitivity to pain stimuli).
These discoveries are very vital in exposing the genuine symptoms of Fibromyalgia and they have also shown that the problem has a distinct medical base.
On the flip side, there is a big list of major possible causes of this health condition which is explained as under.

One of the biggest problems with the causes of Fibromyalgia they are usually not revealed by a health professional and medical doctors even after medical tests and examinations.
In the shortage of any actual physical traces, most health professionals are influenced by labeling men and women with Fibromyalgia as “Hypochondriacs”, overlooking the neurological characteristics of the dysfunction.
On the other hand, a variety of tests carried out in the past have discovered commonalities in all men and women with Fibromyalgia, and complex medical check-ups can uncover neurological complications in men and women damaged by this problem.

Serious sleeping disorders can also be among the list of major possible causes and symptoms of Fibromyalgia.
The latest studies and research conducted by health professionals and researchers have revealed that more than 95% of the men and women affected by Fibromyalgia seriously suffer from various sleeping disorders including “insomnia”.
The vast majority of the people affected by Fibromyalgia suffer from many troubles and complications sleeping long before they have first suffered weakness and muscle pain.
For this reason, health-related research workers think that Fibromyalgia takes place on the premises of improper sleeping routines, and they think that any person with sleeping disorders is more subjected to producing neurological ailments.
4- Lack of Neurotransmitters
Majority of the health-related research workers and scientists explain that particular neurotransmitters; for example “Serotonin” (a bodily hormone that manages the force of pain signals delivered to the human brain and mental faculties) are generated at the time of sleep and men and women with the disorder of Fibromyalgia have a lack of these bodily hormones because of the sleeping irregularities.
For this reason, the treatment of Fibromyalgia must be firstly started by overpowering the patients sleeping complications and problems.
5- Poor muscle Oxygenation
Scientists and research workers tell us that a different and most significant possible cause of Fibromyalgia can be Poor Muscle Oxygenation.
Medical professionals and research workers claim that irregular oxygenation of the muscular parts of the body is a probable reason for Fibromyalgia symptoms, for example, muscular stiffness and weakness, which is very similar to the symptoms experienced by those suffering from rheumatoid arthritis.
On the flip side, medical professionals and research workers have not yet discovered the factors that can stop oxygenation of the muscular parts of the body.

I am totally worn out and have been for the last 40 years. I do my best to keep fit and moving as it seems to help a little but some days are so bad, I wish I wasn’t here. I can’t tell anyone as they just don’t understand. I was told by a Doctor at Winchester Hospital that I had Fibro when I was approx 35 years old. Since then I have travelled due to my family status and now am living in Belgium and am not under any medical services as again they do not understand my situation.
